The Chapter 1 Adjutant
Become an integral part of Chapter 1 by taking on this important position.
Chapter 1 is the founding Chapter of the DAV in Arizona. We need to keep this Chapter alive and well. To accomplish this we need to recruit active members that are willing to take on these important roles within the Chapter’s administration and line of officers. The Chapter Adjutant is similar to a Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the corporate world. The Adjutant manages the day-to-day activities of the Chapter, the social infrastructure and media platforms as well as oversite of the business activities. The Adjutant works side by side with the Commander of the Chapter and the Judge Advocate to ensure that the Chapter operates within constraints of the National, State and Chapter Constitution and Bylaws. While this sounds like a large undertaking, Chapter 1 is a relatively small organization and our current activities are limited and infrequent. It is our hope that we can find a DAV member who wants to see our Chapter alive and successful in our continued endeavor to serve the Nation’s Veterans in the Greater Phoenix area.
